Please give appropriate feedback on the books. Some of the feedback is not critical enough. Remember that "critical" does not have a negative tone in this setting. It simply means that the veiwer deconstructs the images with a keen eye and vocabulary. It is helpful to be nit picky!
We will NOT be reviewing the 84 series this week, only the book. You still must upload the new images to 84 for me to grade.
Please note that Ian may be absent for a bit, as he is dealing with a family emergency. Wish him well, and we will get him back on track when he is up to rejoining the class.

ALEX -Your compositions are nice and i think that the different coffee tables you photo will make for a great series
ReplyDeleteBRITTANY-I really like how you varied up the backgrounds for your photos. It makes each one seem more individual. I also like that the writing is unique for each person in these last 2 photos.
CAITLIN -The newest photo is great. I think that the titles for each pic work really well with how the viewer relates your memories to these photos.
CHRISTINE- I like where your going with your idea. the stories are great and i think you could use some really neat propsin your photos to convey the story.
CRYSTAL- The newest pic looks so great!! I think its your best along with the self portrait. u definitly know how to photograph people. the flowers are pretty but the portraits are amazing
DANIELLE- i think your photos will turn out great. all the examples should translate into awesome photos. cant wait!
ELAINE-wow, i love the pics! i think the first two are the most successful. i really love the swirl effect that you got in the first pic and the colors that are in the second pic. keep it up!

JULEAH-I really like how you emphasize and show the details of the fabric in your newest pic. also the pics are your mom are great, i really like the vintage look. ur book design is also really creative.
KYLA -i like that u r using photos of the dress as its being made. i cant wait to see the finished product in those locations. the text is fun but it started to make my eyes hurt after reading.
MELISSA -WOW! those are so great! u really pulled off the theme and i looooove the use of ur props! ur a great Alice:)! u are gonna have a great book! cant wait to see more!!
NICK -i love where ur going with these! ur photos have great compositions and i like the text, maybe make the text blend a little more like in #2. looking forward to seeing more
SARAH -really nice photos! i love the ones in the grocery store. you are gonna have some awesome pics for your book!
SKY -i am loving the new pics! huge fan of the colors and textures! the pic with the shadow is amazing!!
SOUNG - the new photos look good! i really like the one with the hand and the bathtub, it really goes with your statement and is compositionaly great!
